Beachwood Kitchen Remodel

A chef’s delight!  This Beachwood kitchen remodel required a recessed cantilevered beam to eliminate a wall and open-up the space.  What was a very tight galley kitchen is now a highly functional chef’s kitchen with multiple sinks and a walk-in pantry.  It was essential for the kitchen to flow smoothly into the adjacent living space.  Matching the hardwood flooring was essential in accomplishing this goal.

The kitchen demo has been completed. Now the remodel can begin.

Six burner range set into beautiful chocolate quartz counter tops. A commercial grade exhaust hood is barely visible. Unique hand-made glass tile mosaic backsplash compliments the cooking area.

A different view of the concealed exhaust hood and glass mosaic surrounded by long ceramic subway tile.

A combination of cabinetry color creates interest within this Beachwood ranch home.

Nothing compliments this space better than dark quartz counter tops, light cabinets and new ¾” oak floors. Not engineered oak floors… Solid!

Secondary prep sink with refrigerator located immediately to the left.

Wall oven and hide away microwave cabinet located immediately to the right of the prep sink.

A re-purposed bedroom door has been painted red and used for pantry access. The light comes on automatically when the pocket door is ajar.

Excellent placement of appliances and sinks.

Skylights added lots on needed natural light to this space. Another fabulous kitchen by The Beard Group. Special thanks to the homeowners. You were a pleasure to work for.
