A small, traditional Cleveland Heights kitchen was transformed into a bright, modern space complete with custom Amish-made cabinetry. The renovation included closing off the second door to the living room, while keeping the door to the dining room. The original window and exterior door were replaced with Pella – allowing for more natural light and better energy efficiency. The design also called for adding an awning window over the new farm-sink, which had been relocated to overlook the backyard, rather than the neighbor’s driveway. Sleek, white, floor to ceiling custom cabinetry, complete with cutlery and utensil drawers, pull-out shelves, knife drawer, tray divider, and spice drawer, keeps the kitchen light and airy. Every inch of the original room was utilized to create a modern, functional space where the family can easily entertain and enjoy their new kitchen for years to come.
