A third floor Shaker Heights bathroom was transformed from a cramped, outdated space to a bright, modern spa-like retreat. The adjacent cedar closet was removed in order to expand the footprint of the bathroom to include a walk-in shower. The location of this bathroom presented some design challenges due to the sloping roofline. In order to improve the floor plan and create the illusion of more space, two pedestal sinks and the shower remained open to the room, with separation by a full, clear glass door. The shower bench creates the sense of a true master bath and makes the shower feel huge. Not an inch was wasted in this bathroom remodel.
